Very smooth writing quality. I don't normally care for medium point ink pens, but this pen has converted me. I enjoy writing with it. It doesn't glob up the ink like some medium point pens do, and you don't have to scribble to get it started. (These are all the reasons I prefer fine point. This pen addresses all of that.)
