Yellow Rose is a member of the Sertoma International Organization and our primary mission is helping the more than 42 million people with speech, hearing and communicative disorders. The Yellow Rose Club also sponsors projects that promote youth causes, community service needs, and many other worthwhile programs such as Shoes and Coats for Kids,scholarships, the Boys and Girls Club, local DAV Chapt 41, Project Back to School,Santa’s Workshop, and more. Yellow Rose Sertoma raises and returns nearly $15,000 annually for Burkburnett and Wichita Falls community service projects. We have been a sponsor (5 yrs)for back to school project (a program where low income child (pre-k thru 12 grade) get a free backpack with school supplies). In the past we usually pass out bookmakers and earplugs. This year we are adding rules. With any left overs we take to other projects (health fair, duck sale(fundraiser) and pass them out.
