Slim Pocket Multi Tool

Item no: 128661
Jim's Review:
Unique, intriguing and useful. Everyone I have given it to takes a few moments to look it over. The roughness of the case limits print resolution - so use large characters in your artwork.

Magnetic Light-Up Retriever

Item no: 117573
Jim's Review:
A very useful tool that people will hold onto (no pun intended). Folks find the uniqueness very appealing. The magnet is very strong and the light is very bright. However, be careful with the imprint, as it can wear somewhat over time and the roughness of the handle (which is great for gripping) limits the print resolution - so use large characters in your artwork. Also some of the units required a little cleaning for the light to work properly. In spite of the downsides, I really like this product.
Jim's Review:
Corners are fragile, so they bend and de-laminate easily. The product description states "vinyl surface", but the print is actually on paper that separates easily and is quickly damaged if the magnet is exposed to liquids. The size and shape are a cute idea, but the quality just doesn't stack up. I will stick with the better-quality Bic 30 mil business card magnets.
Jim's Review:
Quality is good and the magnet is waterproof - a big plus over magnets that use paper! Looks best with complex artwork (i.e. photos, patters, etc.). Shows smudges/imperfections when artwork is mostly a solid color. Don't buy the 20 mil magnet - spend the extra money for the thicker magnet.
