I only received a sample flashlight, but it did not work well at all; in fact, it hardly worked. There seems to be no battery; you have to continuously wind the crank to get any light at all, and it's very weak at that. In addition the flashlight & crank are extremely small, making it very hard and inconvenient to turn the crank. It's possible the one I got was defective, but I've ordered other crank flashlights and none worked as poorly as this one. I would not order this without testing one first and even after that I would order them in advance so that if they don't work you can return them or order something else.
