Two highlighters nest inside the plastic barrel, one below the pen and a yellow one at the bottom.
 
The chisel-tip highlighters are great for distinguishing among tasks and subjects.
 
The middle cap colors match the marker ink colors for easy reference.
 
The top silvertone clip cap covers the pen nib.
 
Medium-point black writing ink is standard.
