They're nice and solid. Only down side is a couple broke in the shipping and they shattered getting glass all over the rest of the box that we had to be careful about and clean off the others.

We used this item as a gift for our Centennial Celebration. It was a big hit. We included candies inside the jar with our anniversary logo on them. I have a few left from the event and will be giving them as special gifts when I visit with companies.
