Great mug. Much bigger than you think it will be based on the picture. The handle is large and sturdy, and the curve of the cup is a comfortable shape. Definitely doesn't give the impression of an "ordinary" coffee cup

The shape and weight of the mugs are really good, however the white glaze on them left a little to be desired. It gave it more of a "handmade" look perhaps but that's not really what I wanted. Also, I was frankly horrified that the paint used on the mug contains lead. I didn't know about this prior to ordering the mugs and would have made a different selection had I known. The design itself came out fairly well. One color was not as I expected but the rest did well.
