The size of the bag is small and comfortable. It's a little bigger than a ream of paper. I really liked the velcro strap that holds the bag flap down. It's a nice stylistic but functional addition. The hole for the portable music player with pocket inside was slick as well. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see the top flap has what appears to be some plastic weather proofing on the inside. What I didn't care for with this bag was mainly the shoulder strap. For one it is not detachable. it's too short. For guys the strap is too short to wear across one's body, and can only be worn over a single shoulder -- something which isn't as fashionable at the moment.
