Read the name of the umbrella. It says automatic folding umbrella when I placed the order I was under the impression by the name it automaticly folded at the press of a button. I showed this to several co workers which came to the same comclusion. I called customer service they told me no it automatically folds when you manually close it. Maybe you should change the name of the umbrella it is very misleading.
