This rechargeable power failure light has been specifically designed with safety in mind.
 
When the power fails, the light immediately turns on, discharging a brilliant Krypton beam of light.
 
As a portable flashlight, just unplug it and take it with you in case of an emergency.
 
The soft, micro switch on the side allows you to turn it on and off.
 
It also features a flip-out and locking plug.
 
Replaceable Ni-Cad batteries take up to 1,000 full charges, and operates up to 100 minutes per charge.
 
Includes a red LED indicator light and powerful Krypton bulb.

1) We have a large number of internal labs with no ambient light. In case of an emergency, we wanted staff to have access to a protable light source. 2) Light bulbs are dim, but in the absence of any light, will be suitable. 3) I have no idea what the button on the side does. 4) We have numerous flash lights that are defective.
