The straps are sturdy and the fabric is heavy duty. This appears to be a really well made product! Our company was really excited to receive such a useful gift for lab week. The only downside is that some of the seam stitching looks a little loose in places, but it's often double or even triple stitched, so if one thread is coming out a little, it's not affecting the sturdiness of the bag.
