Golf is the oldest organized sport in the world. And March and April
are the prime months to get your logo in the hands of golfers. After
all, winter is over, so many players are able to start fine-tuning
their skills and look for the newest accessories.

Start with apparel. Moisture-management fabrics are a great gift
for favorite clients or sponsors of a golf tournament. These fabrics
"breathe" and don't stick to the skin. Remember that playing a round
of golf can take at least four hours - sometimes in high heat. No
one wants to be a sweaty, smelly mess afterwards, especially in
front of clients or potential donors. You might want to get a moisture-management
shirt for yourself if you'll be golfing, too.
When
golfing with clients, keep business to a minimum, especially in
the beginning. Just relax and enjoy a break from the office; the
client will thank you for it. You can address business toward the
end of the game. And above all - don't gamble. You want to build
and maintain a good relationship with them.
Even women's golf apparel is making strides, especially with the popularity of Annika Sorenstam and Michelle Wie. Women's apparel is no
longer a smaller version of the man's shirt. There are more feminine styles available, many that can go from the board room to the golf course. |
